Terms for the SanyaSMS bulk-SMS gateway.

Schedule E. Attaches to the Master Terms. Applies to SanyaSMS — the bulk-SMS gateway operated by Netpoa Limited. Prevails over the Master on SMS-specific matters (Master §18).

E.1 Service Scope

SanyaSMS sends SMS to Tanzanian (and selected international) mobile numbers via licensed aggregator routes. Features: branded sender ID, contact lists & groups, scheduled campaigns, pledge drives, delivery reports, and a transactional/OTP API. Sold on prepaid SMS credits — you top up, each delivered message decrements your balance.

E.3 Sender IDs

A branded alphanumeric sender ID (e.g. YOURBIZ) must be registered with TCRA before use — usually approved in 2–3 working days. While pending, messages go out under a fallback ID. Sender IDs must not impersonate another entity, a bank, or a government body. We may reject or revoke a sender ID that violates TCRA rules or appears fraudulent.

You must have consent to message every recipient. You are solely responsible for ensuring each number on your list has opted in to receive your messages. Sending to purchased / scraped / non-consenting lists is prohibited and is the fastest way to get a sender ID revoked and an account suspended.

E.5 Suspension

We may suspend SMS sending immediately (no grace period) for: spam complaints, sending to non-consenting recipients, fraudulent sender IDs, content violating the AUP or Tanzanian law, or a TCRA / carrier directive. Remaining credit balance is preserved during suspension and usable again on reinstatement, unless the suspension is for fraud or illegal content (in which case credits may be forfeited).

E.6 API Use

The transactional / OTP API is rate-limited per account. Keep your API token secret — all sending under your token is billed to you and attributed to you, authorised or not (Master §3). Rotate the token from your dashboard if you suspect exposure.

E.7 Regulatory Compliance

SanyaSMS operates under Tanzania's TCRA framework and the Electronic and Postal Communications Act (EPOCA). You agree to use the service in compliance with TCRA bulk-messaging rules, the National Payment Systems consumer-protection rules where applicable, and the Privacy Policy / DPA for recipient personal data.
